The
historic Empire district is located in the city of Coos
Bay on the southwest coast of Oregon. Our coast line,
rivers, bay, waterfalls and temperate weather make Coos
Bay and the surrounding areas one of the most beautiful
parts of the country.
Tourists and local
citizens take advantage of our wonderful parks, lakes and
ocean for fishing, water sports and hiking. Numerous golf
courses, including the world famous Bandon Dunes are
within 25 miles of Coos Bay.
Coos Bay is the
regional economic center for the south coast from the
California border to Florence. Our excellent medical
facilities and retirement centers attract new Oregonians
to our area. Coos Bay is a wonderful area to live in or
visit and Empire has played an important role in the
development of the community.
